Team of the Week: Leamington Flyers OJHL
The hottest team in the OJHL continued their scorching hot start with a 2-0 OJHL showcase record. The Flyers sit up top the OJHL standings with a 7-0-0-1 record, with a trip to Buffalo on deck this Sunday. Colton Smith has been a crucial add for the Flyers as the 6'3 forward has 15 points in 8 games. With over 100 games played in the OHL, Smith is making life in the OJHL look easy as he sits up top the stats leader board. American 07' forward Brody Cook is at point per game as well as is looking to impress the scouts of the USHL and collegiate ranks. The Flyers have capitalized on their power play this season as they are clicking at an incredible rate of 40 percent, best in the league.
NAHL Blaine Showcase
The NAHL Blaine Showcase, featuring all NAHL teams + top youth programs from the T1ER, began Wednesday night. U18 to U15 age groups will be participating at both Fogerty Arena and NSC Super Rink.

Shelley came up big in the Junior Ranger’s 2-1 overtime win, stopping 48 of 49. The former Potomac Patriot and Washington Little Caps U18 prospect spent last year in the NOJHL, appearing in 8 games for the Soo Eagles.
Jaron Desnoyers ‘04 Forwawrd
Yorktown Terriers SJHL
Desnoyers opened the season with a natural hat trick on Friday night, finishing the game with 4G 1A. His scoring touch would continue Sunday with 1G 2A, as Yorktown swept Weyburn. After 2 seasons in the AJHL with Sherwood Park and Fort McMurray, Desnoyers had his most productive junior season of his career in 23-24 with Yorkton, with 18G 32A in 55 games.
