Protec Ducks 2W-0L-0T
Coach Terry Watt’s expansion team came out flying in the 2020-2021 season with two big wins over the New York Applecore. The Ducks feature a good combination of veteran junior players and rookies. With a deep group of forwards the Ducks showed that they have the ability to put up points in bunches. This squad plays a fast pace game that college coaches will like watching. They will have to tighten up on the backend if they would like to have continued success throughout the year.
Prospects
Brayden Patricia - 2000’ Forward, 6’0, 194LBS, Right, Pro-tec- Patricia started his 20 year old junior year hot as he accumulated 6 points in two games. He is pure goal scorer who knows how to buy time for himself in the offensive zone. He uses his body to protect pucks and for the level has incredible vision as a play maker. The extra year of junior will allow him to work on his foot speed so he can make an immediate impact as a freshman in college next season.

Daniel Schnack - 2001’ Forward, 5’10, 175LBS, Right, Pro-tec- The two way forward who spent last year playing in the USPHL for the New Hampshire Monarchs, started his JR career off on the right foot scoring three goals. He is a pesky forward who is hard to contain as he is shifty through all three zones. He competes to every puck and when he is playing his top game, he is one of the most productive playerson the ice.
Other EHL News

New Hampshire Avalanche 3W-0L-0T
The Avalanche EHLP team capped off a successful start to the season with a weekend sweep of the Maine Eclipse. They continued their success into Tuesday by beating a tough New England Wolves team 4-3, when Graham Hassan scored with a just a minute left.
This year’s version of the Avalanche EHLP program looks too be older and deeper than most teams in the EHLP. Defensively they are rock solid and anything that gets through is easily handled by a trio of goaltenders Nick Maringola, Shane Peremba and Nate Burlew. Offensively, all four lines have proven productive and should be a nightmare for opposing teams to handle.
Other EHLP News
New Jersey Renegades - Split their opening weekend with the CT Chiefs. Second year EHLP player Dylan Idland looks poised to have a monster year in the league as he is almost half-way to last years point production in one weekend.
New England Wolves - The traditional EHLP power, struggled in their opening games going 0-2-0-1. They will need to sure up their back end if they want to see success this season.

Charlotte Rush- 2W-0L-0T
Head Coach Trevor Jewell has big expectations for this year’s Charlotte Rush team as the organization spent a lot of time recruiting high end talent. One of the top recruits Coach Jewell brought in was goaltender David Battisti from Rochester, New York. Battisti showed his worth on opening night with a nice shutout getting his season off on the right foot. The Rush swept divisional rival Potomac Patriots outscoring their opponent 13-0 over two games. This version of the Rush can really push the pace and are very effective on special teams. The Rush look poised for a big run this season.
Kyle Watson - 2000’ Forward, 6’0, 170LBS, Right, Hampton Roads- The prolific goal scorer looks like he picked up right where he left off as he tried to will his Hampton Roads team to victory. He has an elite release and has a knack for finding soft areas of the ice where the puck just finds him. He competes away from the puck and was used in every situation. He will be coveted prospect for many division 3 programs this year.
David Battisti - 2001’ Goaltender, 5’11, 155LBS, Left, Charlotte Rush- Battisti is an athletic goaltender who showed his ability to keep his team in games. Despite his teams lopsided scores, he was able to keep his team from falling behind early in the first period by making timely saves. He is very quick side to side and anticipates at a high level. A talented skater who has a lot of long-term upside with the Rush.
Other USPHL News
Northern Colorado Eagles - Got off to a hot start sweeping the former WSHL power house in a three-game set. The Eagles are an extremely skilled team that has the ability to score in bunches. This group enjoys a diverse mix of both youth and veteran leadership.
Carolina Jr. Hurricanes - Jr. Canes were extremely impressive this weekend as they were able to sweep the Hampton Roads Whalers on the road. The Jr. Hurricanes looked to have built depth from the net out as they have a strong group of defensemen and have enough goal scorers in their line up to be a threat every night.
