QMJHL Goalie Goal

Halifax Moosehead Mathis Rousseau is the latest goaltender to get a goal in a regular season game, scoring in Halifax’s 6-4 win over Rouyn-Noranda Huskies Friday night.

USHL Goaltending

The USHL this season might be the year of the goalies, with 5 goaltenders under 2 GAA, and 12 goaltenders over a .900 save %. Western Michigan commit Cameron Korpi of Tri City improved to 7-0 on Friday night, stopping 43 of 44 shots vs Sioux Falls, while Anton Castro improved to 4-0, and has yet to surrender more than 2 goals this season. Former University of Minnesota goaltender Owen Bartoszkiewicz return to Youngstown has been impressive, currently 5-1 and leading the league with a .960 save %.

WHL Rookies

Terik Parascak (2024 NHL Draft eligble) and Gavin McKenna (2026 Draft Eligible) are leading the WHL rookie scoring race thus far, with Parascak currently 4th amongst all players with 13G 9A in just 11 games. McKenna, who has been on scouts radars since an early age, is already operating at over a point per game, with 5G 10A in 11 games.

Connor Bedard Scores First In Chicago

After starting the season on the road for 5 games, Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks returned for their home opener Saturday night. Check out Bedard’s first goal at the United Center, he currently has 2G 2A in 6 NHL games.
