Will Zellers ‘06 Forward
Green Bay Gamblers USHL
Zellers had himself a month of November, 11G 5A in 11 November games. The Colorado Avalanche 2024 draft pick and North Dakota commit seems to have a way to always be in the mix offensively, had a breakout weekend vs USNTDP, scoring 4 goals in a 2 game series. Has the aggressiveness and want for the puck, as well as a natural release on wrist shot.
Poul Andersen ‘07 Forward
Sherwood Park Crusaders BCHL
The Maine commit has begun to heat up a bit with 4G 2A in his last 5, scoring both in/ around the net or off rush / attacking plays in space. Has a long stride with great balance, sturdy on the puck. Season totals now up to 14G 11A in 24 games, and was listed on NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary watchlist for the 2025 draft.
#24 Rasmus Svartstrom ‘05 Forward
Cranbrook Bucks BCHL
Point steak now at 8 games with 1G this week to follow up his hat trick and 1 assist last weekend. Can be tough to deal with net front at 6’5”, not just screening but showed quick hand eye control to get to rebounds, while also the skill to finish off rush plays. Enters the weekend with 19G 6A in 23 games.
Alex Laurenza ‘05 Forward
Austin Bruins NAHL
Laurenza will look to continue his point streak this weekend, has had a point in 14 straight beginning in mid October. Now at 19G 21A in 23 games after 2G 2A last weekend, scoring on mini breakaways from smart positioning and a hardworking stride. Currently committed to Union, a hardworking, pesky at times forward who can play both center and wing.
Oli Genest ‘04 Forward
New Hampshire Mountain Kings NAHL
The Air Force commit is now over a goal per game on the season, scoring in his last 10 games. Genest scored all 3 games last weekend vs Maine, showing a shooters mentality to find spots and a quick release. Also has the power forward’s edge to game, ability to dominate physically winning battles or maintain possession with 6’1” frame.
Eric Barnard ‘04 Forward
Pembroke Lumber Kings CCHL
In his last 9 games beginning 11/1, Barnard has 10G 12A. Has certainly taken a step offensively, already past his 23/24 production of 9G 25A in 32 games at 18G 29A. Hardworking 5’11” left handed center plays with constant motion, not the biggest but physical and tough when he needs to be. Has shown throughout November his confidence on the puck to get body around pucks and shoot, a snappy release on his snap shot. A collegiate prospect to keep an eye on.
Ludvig Mellgren ‘04 Defenseman
Austin Bruins NAHL
Mellgren scored his 1st on the season on a powerplay one timer last weekend, but has been a productive creator all season. The undersized left handed defender has quick feet and a release to get pucks toward net quickly or find teammates in transition. Has the highest +/- of all NAHL defenseman with +17.
#7 Kazimier Sobieski ‘04 Defenseman
Youngstown Phantoms USHL
Sobieski returned to Youngstown after starting the season at UMass, and has 4 goals in last 3 games, 4G 3A already in just 4 total USHL games. Before joining UMass, the 6’1” righty spent 2 seasons in Sioux Falls, tallying a career high 24 points in 51 games in 23/24.
Avery Laliberte ‘06 Defenseman
Niverville Nighthawks MJHL
3 of his 5 goals on the season coming in last 3 games. now over 23/24 point production of 2G 17A in 57 games with 5G 16A in 26 games. Enters the weekend on a 3 game point streak, Laliberte has a simple stride and skill yet very effective. A lengthy 6’2”, will catch scouts attention due to size and mature, quiet game. Has shown in recent games a readiness and quick steps on the puck, reads and makes plays with confidence.
