Players to watch
Ryan Winterton - 03' Forward - London Knights
The Seattle Kraken draft pick has been Mr. Do it all for the Knights through the playoffs. Through 15 games, Winterton has 11 goals and 11 assists good enough for 22 points. He has been equally as impressive in the neutral zone and defensive zone, showing a well-rounded game.
Denver Barkey - 05' Forward - London Knights
Really improving his draft stock during this playoff run has been Barkey who finished the season as the 79 ranked skater in NHL Central Scouting. The undersized speedy forward has found the back of the net 9 times and has added 12 assists to his playoff totals thus far.
Oliver Bonk - 05' Defensemen - London Knights
In a draft that is not particularly loaded with high end defensemen or a clear-cut top prospect, Bonk has the platform to elevate his stock as the top defender taken. Bonk is a rangy 6'2 defender who is hard to play against and has shown some impressive offensive upside this year.
Avery Hayes - 02' Forward - Peterborough Petes
A big piece to the Hamilton Bulldogs run last season, Hayes came halfway through the season to the Petes. The American born forward is a proven winner and plays the game as a 200-foot player. He leads the Pete's with 8 goals this season and is making a strong case to have a free agent contract once the season concludes.
Brennan Othmann - 03' Forward - Peterborough Petes
The first-round pick of the New York Rangers in 2021, will be a must watch for Ranger fans. Othmann is projected to contend for a roster spot next season on the Rangers or at minimum be a top contributor for the Hartford Wolfpack.
