The nation’s top 2004 birth year players battled it out to represent the USA at the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in August. Our scouts were on hand and produced the following report highlighting some of the top talent.

Our scouting and analysis groups broke down the USHL Phase I and Phase II drafts, providing an in depth report on where the top talent is being produced in the United States, as well as other trends and analysis from every round of both drafts.
NAHL Entry Draft Analysis
The July 14th NAHL Entry Draft is a selection of all junior eligible players who are not tendered or rostered by NAHL teams, and is the the main draft for new players to enter to the NAHL. The NAHL is a tier II junior league that has franchises throughout the United States, stretching coast to coast.
Our analysis breaks down the draft by position, by former team, as well as highlighting top headlines from each round.
World Junior Summer Showcase
7.24.21 - 7.31.21 - Plymouth, Michigan
The 2021 World Junior Summer Showcase was a great evaluation of some of the future stars of both the 2022 World Junior Championships, and the most recent NHL drafts. 51 players in the tournament were drafted in the first 3 rounds of the 2020, or 2021 draft, and the teams came ready to play, excited to prove their worth for the 2022 rosters.
World Youth Championships - 2005 Division
The World Youth Championships were held across southern New Jersey and Pennslyvania from June 26th to June 30th. Our scouts were in attendance to highlight some of the top talent from the ‘05 level.

Jimmy Hayes
NHL
The 6’5” power forward, who spent 7 seasons in the NHL, shockingly passed away Monday at the age of 31 at his home in Milton, Mass. The NHL and hockey community have rallied around the Hayes family, including brother Kevin Hayes of the Philadelphia Flyers. The lovable Jimmy Hayes played at Nobles before playing for the USNTDP and then Boston College, where he would win a NCAA National Championship. He played 334 games in the NHL, with 54 goals and 55 assists, for Chicago, Florida, Boston and New Jersey.
Canada Thumps US
IIHF Women’s World Championships
Without Captain Marie-Philip Poulin, and on a 8 game losing streak to the US, Canada jumped the US in their final game of the prelims with a 5-1 victory. The game was a battle, a treat to watch, tons of skill and creativity throughout the game. Jamie Lee Rattray stepped up for Canada, potting 2 goals. The US will play Japan, while Canada takes on Germany on Saturday / Sunday in the Quarter Finals.
