Taybor Aldrich - Little Caesars - 2005 LH Forward
Aldrich led Caesars in points with 3 goals 2 assists for 5 points. He uses his speed well and has a quick release. Creates a lot of time and space off the rush.
Sebastian Speck - Little Caesars - 2004 LH Forward
Speck had 1 goal 4 assists for 5 points. He showed good vision, and north south speed. He’s good along the walls offensively, but could use some work in his defensive zone with habits and consistent work ethic.
Stone Rolston - Little Caesars - 2005 - RH - Forward
Son of former NHL’er Brian Rolston, Stone used his big frame to win puck battles, and his long stride helped him make plays and create space. He has a high-end release which he showed several times throughout the weekend. Finished the weekend with 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points.
Connor Beckwith Little Caesars - 2005 - LH Forward
Beckwith spent last season with Honeybaked. He has high end vision and has the ability to create plays off the rush. Finished with 4 assists on the weekend.
Daniel Macleish - Little Caesars - 2005 LH Defensemen
Macleish led the Little Caesars backend with 2 goals and an assist on the weekend. He has decent size and a shot that finds its way to the net regularly. His transition skating helps him keep a solid gap through the neutral zone and makes it hard for his opponents to ender the zone.
Tai Ushio - Little Caesars - 2005 RH Forward
Skilled speedy forward from Japan. Ushio has a high offensive skillset, but needs to fill out physically and work on his neutral zone game to fully round out his game.
Michael Modelski - Little Caesars - 2005 LH Goaltender
Modelski has size, strength and vision to make him a high-end goalie. He tracks pucks well and fights through screens. Good skater and as the games get tight his nerves seem to get lower. Showed this weekend why he was a National Camp attendee.
Jack Mcgregor - Team Wisconsin - 2005 RH Forward
Mcgregor led Team Wisconsin in scoring this weekend with 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points. Jack does not have an overly big frame, but he competes had, has good vision and cleans up around the net.
Kyle Rohrer - Team Wisconsin - 2005 LH Forward
Rohrer has high end vision and plays the game at a high pace. Good frame and with added weight he could be a high-end power forward. Had 2 goals and 2 assists this weekend.
Michael Mcintee - Team Wisconsin - 2005 RH Defensemen
The 6’0 180 pound D man had a goal and 2 helpers on the weekend. He plays with pace and controls the puck well on the PP. He has high end vision and a great stick.
Brady Engelkes - Team Wisconsin - 2005 LH Forward
Continued to build off a strong showing at Select 16 National Camp this summer, Engelkes showed poise with the puck and ability to get to white ice. He finishes pucks in tight and off the rush. With added strength he will be a tough player to play against this year.
David Dina - Team Wisconsin - 2005 RH Defensemen
Dina plays the game with snarl. Makes a good first pass and joins the rush. Took a few bad penalties this weekend trying to do too much. Needs to learn how to stay in control in all aspects of his game.
Devin Schutt Team Wisconsin 200 - LH Goaltender
Big at 6’3” 215 pounds, Schutt has the makings to be a high-end goalie. He fights through screens and stays square to pucks. Made some high-quality saves in danger areas. With some skating improvements he could be a solid goaltender.
Andrew LeHaie - Nashville Jr Predators - 2004 RH Forward
LeHaie led a fast paced Nashville team with 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points. His ability to get up into plays and vision finding the late guy on the rush is elite. He isn’t the biggest player but he wins puck battles and uses his high IQ to come away with pucks.
Nathaniel Stout - Nashville Jr Predators - 2005 LH Forward
At 6’0 170 Stout showed the ability to be a high end forward at the next level. His skating is elite and showed it a few times on great back checks as well as on the rush. Had 2 goals and 2 assists. Look for Stout to be a solid top six junior hockey forward when he adds to his frame. The skating and finish are already there.
Gage Winter - Nashville Jr Predators - 2005 RH Forward
Winter joins Nashville from the New England Wolves 16 team, and did not look out of place in a tight game vs a strong Compuware team. He had 2 goals and 2 helpers for 4 points. His skating is game changing and his touch around the net is elite. Needs to add size and some work in his own end, but his offensive game is right there.
Wyatt Stout - Nashville Jr Predators - 2005 RH Defensemen
Twin brother to Nathaniel, Wyatt showed a different style on the back end. At 6’1” 175 he has the frame to be a big strong D man. He controls the game with his strong skating and puck protection. Has a hard shot and great defensive stick.
Michael Fremgen - Nashville Jr Predators - 2005 RH Defensemen
Joining after a down year at Trinity Pawling, Fremgen showed some offensive pop and good skating. With some work in his own end, he showed the ability to be a decent puck moving defenseman.
Clay Spencer - Michigan Hockey Academy - 2005 RH Defensemen
His 3 goals and 1 assist led his MHA team in points. Spencer is a smooth skater and has a powerful shot that finds the net. With added strength and work on wall play in his own end he could be a high-end defender.
Sammy Mielock - Michigan Hockey Academy - 2004 RH Forward
Mielock had 4 assists on the weekend. He is a shifty high pace skater with elite vision. He finds space and he at times plays well of the rush. Struggled a bit in his own end, but his ability to create offense really shined this weekend.
Peter Rosa - Michigan Hockey Academy - 2004 LH Defensemen
Rosa is a smaller defenseman but plays a strong two-way game. His goal and 2 helpers showed his offensive side as he was good joining plays late and finding guys off the rush. His defensive stick is his best asset in his own end as he was able to touch pucks off his opponents regularly.
Andrew Marone - Michigan Hockey Academy - 2005 RH Forward
Marone showed good hockey IQ and some offensive touch. His skating needs work, but could be a good depth player in junior and college.
Sutton Majeske - Compuware - 2005 Forward
Sutton has a high motor and quick release. He didn’t pop off the page most games but would have a shot that left you looking for who he was. Needs to work on his play away from pucks to round out his game and overall consistency.
Brad Boniface - Compuware - 2005 RH Defensemen
Dynamic with the puck on his stick. Boniface is undersized but plays the game with some grit. He had a goal and assist, and showed the ability to be a good puck moving D.
Elliott Gulley - Chicago Fury - 2005 LH Forward
Gulley was one of the most dynamic players in the showcase, his 2 goals 4 assists and 6 points showed why he was a national camp kid this summer. His skating allows him to make every play on the ice and his on-ice awareness allows to stay one play ahead of everyone. He finds open ice and hits seams with his passes. Has a high-end release that he can get off in tight areas.
Jacob Delaney - Chicago Fury - 2004 LH Defensemen
Delaney is a big strong defender. He can move pucks quick in transition and skates well for his 6’ 180-pound frame. Needs to learn a little more in the defensive zone but has the IQ and skating ability to be a high end player.
Branko Vukas - Chicago Fury - 2005 RH Defensemen
The 6’4” 200 pound D showed flashes of being solid. His feet need to continue to develop as they are still heavy not allowing him defend consistently. He joins the rush well and plays a strong physical game. His shot is heavy and he finds the shooting lanes regularly. If his first step improves and lateral mobility, he will be a high end player.
Beckham Dempsey - Chicago Fury - 2004 LH Goaltender
Dempsey played in a high offensive game vs Wisconsin as the final score didn’t reflect his game. He’s big and strong on his edges, stays square to pucks and can make a big save when needed. At 6’1” 180 look for Dempsey to turn heads at the next level.
Joey Imgrund - Team Minnesota - 2005 LH Forward
Joey had 2 goals and an assist. He showed touch around the net, a good release and speed that can beat defenders to the edge. His game away from the puck needs to improve, but he has all the tools.
Gabe Gallivan - Team Minnesota - 2005 RH Defensemen
The 6’2” 180 pound defender plays the game the right way. Has good wheels up ice, strong in transition, a decent stick, and can play off the rush. Gallivan has a high IQ and makes a good first pass. Look for him to take his game to another level this year.
Jordan Bezio - Seacoast - 2004 LH Defensemen
Normally a forward Bezio played the weekend at D. His ability to join and lead rushes showed off his dynamic skating ability. He has elite vision and finds players in tight spots especially on the PP. He had a goal and 3 helpers on the weekend.
Jaden Duprey - Seacoast - 2005 RH Forward
Duprey has a nice mix of speed and shiftiness. He has a high-end release that gives goaltenders problems regularly. He had 3 points this weekend but needs to improve his wall play in the defensive zone. He has the tools to be a good top six forward at the junior level.
Albert Skalsky - Seacoast - 2005 LH Forward
Skalsky is a big smooth skating center from the Cezch Republic. He has elite vision and skating ability that is above average for the level. His defensive game improved each game. Look for him to be a solid 3rd line center at the next level.
Brandon Golub - Seacoast - 2004 LH Goaltender
Golub was arguably the best goalie in the showcase. His 4-2 loss (ENG) vs Caesars was an elite performance. He made 51 saves on 53 shots and at points looked to steal the game. He is square and fights for every puck. With some skating improvement Golub could be a steal for a tier 2 team next year.
Tim Wallen - Seacoast - 2004 RH Forward
The big 6’2” 215 pound Swedish forward showed flashes of being a good power forward. With some improvements to his skating Wallen could be a force. At times he controlled the play in the offensive zone and he has a high-end release.
Kai Hohoff - Seacoast - 2005 LH Forward
Hohoff is a strong two way center. He is a force in front of the net and showed good touch with the puck in crowded net front areas. With some work away from the puck he could be a good two way center.
Arseni Zharikov - Seacoast - 2005 LH Forward
A good two way forward Zhairkov blocks shots and has a good release. Needs to add to his frame, but has the tools to be a two-way player who can score at the next level.
Tommy McDonough - Seacoast - 2004 LH Defensemen
Showed well in 2 games before heading to The Hill School where he will be playing this fall. Mcdonugh is undersized, but plays a nasty game in his own end. Has a high IQ and makes reads at a high level executing his first pass effectively.
Cam O’Connell - Seacoast - 2005 RH Defensemen
Smooth skater who isn’t afraid to join the rush. Cam showed a high IQ, but needs to work on simplifying his game as he sometimes overcompensates and tries to do too much.
Hunter Lee - Seacoast - 2005 LH Defensemen
Small puck moving D, Lee plays bigger than his 5’8 frame. He has high end offensive ability, but needs to simplify his defensive zone game to be effective at the next level.
Knut Hornqvist - Seacoast - 2004 RH Forward
Small speedy forward who has good hands, and a quick shot. Plays well in front of the net, and kills penalties.
Aidan Dyer - Fox Motors - 2005 RH Forward
High end forward who has good vision, speed and a good release. Needs to add some muscle to be effective at the next level, but his ability to make plays makes him an exciting player to watch.
Parker Newman - Fox Motors - 2005 RH Forward
Well rounded player with high end offensive IQ. Needs to work on his defensive zone game but has the toughness and IQ to be a successful player at the next level.
Owen Schrader - Fox Motors - 2005 LH Forward
Good north south type of player. Showed some touch around the net. Needs to initiate more along the walls and work on his first step.
Camden Svoboda - Fox Motors - 2005 LH Defensemen
Speedy offensive minded defenseman who makes a good first pass and uses the net well. Needs to fill out, but could turn into a solid two-way defender with time.
James King - Fox Motors - 2005 LH Goaltender
Big lanky goaltender who is a strong skater and battles through traffic. Made multiple big time saves in a 4-1 (ENG) loss to Seacoast. King has the tools to be a strong goalie at the next level.
Kyle Mackintosh - Honeybaked - 2004 LH Forward
Big heavy power forward with a quick release and a heavy shot. Has the ability to score in bunches and take over a game. Needs to work on his skating game to round out his game.
Nikitia Soloviev - Honeybaked - 2005 RH Forward
Speedy winger with good edges. Has a high IQ and good vision. Needs to improve strength as he disappears along the walls.
Sahne Marion - Honeybaked - 2005 RH Forward
A thick frame that is hard to move, Marion plays a power forward style of game despite his height. Plays a strong two-way game and showed some touch around the net.
