A total of 284 players were selected from the Western provinces of Canada, as well as the United States for the 2022 WHL Prospects and US Drafts. These drafts are age specific, with 99% of players this year being 2007 born. The Prospects draft consists of 14 rounds vs the 2 rounds of the US draft.
