Kayden Hargraves - ‘02 Goaltender - Fairbanks Ice Dogs
Commit : N/A
The aforementioned Hargraves was excellent all weekend for Fairbanks and he showcased a lot of how well he can move around the crease. A quick footed goalie who also has very good control of his hands was able to stymie Kenai all weekend and get a good feel for his game heading into playoffs.
Ty Naaykens - ‘01 Forward - Fairbanks Ice Dogs
Commit : St. Lawrence
Ty had a good weekend overall for Fairbanks as he showed off a lot of good habits in his game, while also finding the back of the net on Saturday night. Ty supports pucks very well all over the ice and he also has great vision. Two very good skills for him to keep building on as he just keeps getting better and better.
Tyler Stewart - ‘01 Forward - Fairbanks Ice Dogs
Commit : N/A
Tyler found the back of the net twice on Saturday night as he helped lead Fairbanks to the big win to close out the season. He possesses a very good hockey IQ as he knows how to find open space and be an option for his teammates all over the ice. He adds in some very good poise with the puck as he showcased on his breakaway goal.
Jasper Lester - ‘00 Defenseman - Fairbanks Ice Dogs
Commit : Air Force
Jasper has been a good veteran defenseman for the Ice Dogs all season long. A reliable and positionally sound player who plays with a ton of good habits in the defensive zone. Also having a good knack for getting pucks to the net, he helped create a lot of good opportunities this past weekend.
Laker Aldridge - ‘01 Forward - Fairbanks Ice Dogs
Commit : N/A
Laker has been a leader all year for Fairbanks and helped them Friday night but scoring the lone goal of the game. Aldridge has a good quick release as he showed Friday beating goaltender Luke Pavicich over the glove on a quick developing 2 on 1. He also brings an element of toughness to the lineup for Fairbanks as he is not afraid to finish his hits.
Luke Pavicich - ‘02 Goaltender - Kenai River Brown Bears
Commit : UMass-Amherst
Luke has been very impressive in his first year in the NAHL and closed out the year with a good performance although he came up short in a 1-0 loss. Luke plays a very balanced game and has great rebound control, never finding himself out of position as he controls the game with the best of them in the league.
Laudon Poellinger - ‘00 Forward - Kenai River Brown Bears
Commit : N/A
Laudon had a good final weekend for Kenai despite the team losing both of their games. A good veteran forward for Kenai has good vision all over the ice. He also uses his big frame very well to protect pucks and play possession at the right times.
Daymin Dodge - ‘00 Forward – Kenai River Brown Bears
Commit : N/A
Dodge was able to find the back of the net on the final weekend, he takes good awareness into the game as he knows when and where to support pucks. He hunts pucks very well and is willing to go to the hard areas to score.
Theo Thrun - ‘01 Forward - Kenai River Brown Bears
Commit : Western Michigan
One of the best attributes of Theo’s game is his ability to get pucks to the net as he was always trying to create throughout the weekend. More often than not he was shooting for a purpose whether it was to try and score or put pucks into areas for his teammates to work towards.
