Over 50 Scouting Reports for U15 - U16 - U18 Divisions
Shaun Rios – ‘05 Forward - BK Selects
Rios is a scorer with a quick release. He fights though traffic, is strong on his stick, and is hard to play against on the forecheck.
Matteo Michels – ‘05 Forward - BK Selects
Michels is tough to play against. He shows good intensity and consistent work ethic in all situations. He seals walls on the forecheck and shows good Ozone triangle rotation
Andrew Delladonna – ‘04 Forward - BK Selects (Ohio State)
Delladonna had a strong weekend. He is skilled, has a nose for the net and will go to high-traffic areas to score. He creates offense in tight but also plays a well-rounded, 200 ft game.
Antonio Arcaroli – ‘04 Forward – North Jersey Avalanche
Arcaroli is a big forward whose skating has improved. He keeps his game simple and uses his strong net drives to create space and his size to control play in the corners.
David Matousek – ‘02 Forward – Philadelphia Little Flyers
Matousek is offensively dangerous every shift that he’s on the ice. He has a strong combination of a good technical skillset and hockey sense and he consistently gets pucks to the net to create opportunities.
Frank Jirak – ‘02 Forward – Philadelphia Little Flyers
Jirak is a power forward with a quick release. He does a good job using the D as a screen off the rush and he shows good anticipation and an active stick on the forecheck.
ICYMI - NCDC Prospects Report
Brandon Cimino – ‘01 Defenseman – Jersey Hitmen (Bentley)
Two-way puck moving defender who makes strong outlet passes. Very active into joining the rush as a fourth forward or pinching down the wall with the puck. Quarterback of the powerplay who helps facilitate a significant amount of scoring chances either moving the puck or using deception to create shooting lane for himself. Reads the play well and can anticipate where the puck is going.
Christopher Delaney - ‘04 Forward - Boston Jr Bruins
Delaney is an undersized, but very skilled forward with great poise with the puck. Vision is there and is not afraid to battle. Common with young players making the jump to juniors, size is currently an issue and struggles at times with physical opponents.
Preview 11.4.20 - USPHL Premier
Rockets Hockey Club (5) vs Connecticut Jr. Rangers (4)
The Rockets Hockey Club took the short trip north to take on rival CT Rangers in a mid-week contest that featured two teams up top the Mid-Atlantic division in the USPHL Premier.
Harrison Blackwood - ‘01 Forward - Rockets Hockey Club
2020 Stats - 12GP 10G 11A 21pts
The big bodied forward was the most effective forward for the Rockets offensively with a total of 4 points (2G 2A). Blackwood uses his body to protect the puck extremely well as times it looks like the puck is glued to his stick. He finds the soft areas of the ice and does a tremendous job of stretching the play without compromising his team. Blackwood currently has 21 pts in just 12 games played.
Skylar Miller - ‘01 Defenseman - Rockets Hockey Club
2020 Stats - 10GP 2G 4A 6pts
An up and down performance from Skylar here, but his up was really high and could not be ignored. He had a goal and an assist for his squad today as he played heavy minutes. He is extremely mobile and poised with the puck on his stick. Offensively he has a lot of pieces to like but defensively he needs to clean up his game as he can be turnover prone. There is a lot you can do with his game.
