The New England Conference again had a very strong showing in the 2019 - 2020 season, placing 7 teams in the leagues Top 10. The Boston Jr Rangers and New Hampshire Avalanche were the teams to beat in the EHL, dominating from the start and finished with less than 10 regular time losses.
Logan DiScanio led the league in scoring ( 46 GP 34G 57A) with line mate Geordan Buffoline finishing 2nd during the regular season (46GP 34G 35A). Buffoline found another gear in the playoffs leading the league with 7 points in his first 2 games.The Lumberjacks were one of the hottest teams in the EHL, with a lethal powerplay that scored over 60 goals, as well as a trio of goaltenders all averaging over 90% save percentages.
The conferences newest team, the Seacoast Spartans, battled through their first season, finishing 14th out of 19, and committing a total of 4 players. Spartan Defenseman Nick Nault committed to University of Southern Maine, and was awarded 2nd Team All New England honors.
Commitments
The EHL Committed a total of 155 players to Division III and Division II programs. Stevenson University (Division III) finished the season landing 7 total commitments from across the EHL, tied with SUNY Brockport (Division III). In second, Becker College (Division III) and Franklin Pierce University (Division II) both finished the recruiting year with 6 each.

The New England Conference accounted for 70% of all EHL commitments with 108, with 94 going to Division III Programs and 14 going to Division II.

SUNY Brockport committed 7 New England division players, leading Division III programs. Southern New Hampshire and Franklin Pierce both committed 4 players each from the New England conference, leading Division II programs.
University of New England came out of the commitment period with 2 players at the top of their positions. Dynamic forward Geo Buffoline (Vermont Lumberjacks), and Co-Goaltender of the year Billy Gerard both committed to the Nor’Easters

Other notable commitments are Elmira College, who committed shifty forward Chance Gorman (East Coast Wizards), who finished 5th in scoring (45 GP 30G 36A) and All EHL Defenseman Mitchell Haight (Boston Jr Rangers).
