Players to Watch
Ryan Carr - ‘06 Forward
Carr is entering his second season with the Philadelphia Revolution and has taken a massive step forward in his development. He is a strong two-way forward who does not cheat the game and leads by example. His role will continue to expand this year and is sneaky under the radar player for scouts to keep an eye on.
Kevin Koles - ‘06 Defenseman
Koles is a dynamic offensive defenseman who plays every situation for his club. He is a good combination of skill and toughness as he has been known to bring on a physical presence to his game. Offensively, he has been known to fill the net as he has scored 30 goals in his two seasons of Bantam hockey.
Trent Altemos - ‘06 Defenseman
At 6'0 Altemos has a tremendous skating ability and offensive touch on the puck. Early on this season he has produce at a high clip and his poise with the puck on his stick has shined brightly. He is a player that should continue to develop and be an intriguing prospect for scouts to monitor.
Challenge Accepted
The Rev as an independent team have not been scared to play anyone:
Boston JR Eagles 9/11 at the Boston EES

Mid Fairfield JR Rangers at South Kent 9/17-9/18

Playing in all 6 Eastern Exposure Series events as well as Beast Series at Bishop Kearney (Dec) and Notre Dame in January.
Coaches Comments
I am really excited about our team this season. We have the core of our team that lost in the finals of District Play Ins last season in tact with 13 returning players to our program. We have added some new players that contribute to our depth both on the front and back end of the lineup. We can count on all four lines and all six defensemen to contribute on a nightly basis.
Our talent level is high and deeper than last season. We have already seen them gel together on the ice throughout the summer and during training camp in August.
Our schedule is very challenging but they are prepared for the task in front of them.
Program Highlights
Our program focuses primarily on development.
4 hours of practice ice per week as well as multiple minicamps throughout the season.
The coaching staff at Revolution is second to none. It truly is a collaborative effort with coaches at all levels working together for the betterment of the club and all players. There are so many coaching resources in our building. Our philosophy is heavily weighted on culture. We believe that the right mix of players is key. In my opinion this is what really sets us apart. It all starts with likeminded individuals, players, coaches, and parents all with a common goal and philosophy of development above all. My goal is to mold all players into high level athletes and more importantly high quality young men.
