OHL Draft Analysis

The 2023 OHL Draft saw some of the top 2007’s selected from both Canada and the United States, majority coming out of minor hockey leagues within Ontario, led by the OMHA, and GTHL. 72.6% of selections in the first 3 rounds came from either the GTHL (38.7%), OMHA ETA (22.6%), or OMHA SCTA (11.3%). The GTHL dominated the 1st round, with 10 of 22 selections, and 3 of 5 1st round selections from the OMHA came in the first 6.
