With the CVC just getting started, Notre Dame will have a busy February. They defeated Hopewell Valley behind Senior Carson Skove’s 6 total points.
Princeton - 1-0
Like Notre Dame, Princeton will have a busy February. They had a convincing win over Nottingham 8-3. Senior Colm Trainor tallied 4pts in the win. Circle January 29, as they take on ND.
Skylands
Hunterdon Central - 2-0
With two good looking wins under their belt vs Watchung Hills and Hillsborough, the Red Devils look like a top contender in the Skylands. SR Goalie Jack Menichillo has stopped 47 of 48 shots.
Hillsborough - 1-1
Win over Bridgewater and a hard-fought loss over a good Hunterdon Central team. Hillsborough looks to be a solid team again with top end scorers Brock Forrest and Pat Lewicki.
Ridge - 0-0
Has not played yet but is a pre-season favorite.
Shore Central
Toms River North - 3-0
Sitting perfect in the early part of the season, TRN is getting contributions from multiple players. The secondary scoring from the forward group will make this team hard to beat nightly
Manalapan - 2-2
Up and down so far this season for Manalapan. With a big game vs Toms River North on Friday, they gain momentum in the Shore Central Race with a win. SR Dylan Stein has 4g 4A so far.
Shore North
Saint John Vianney - 2-0
A big win over St. Joes Metuchen, SJV looks to continue their momentum over a pair of public schools, Marlboro and Monroe. SR Ryan Kulaszewski has 5pts through the first two games.
Middletown South - 2-0
A younger team this year but not shy of any amount of skill, they will be in the thick of it all year. SO Lucas Campos has 2A, JR Mike Ferlanti 4A, this team moves the puck well.
Manasquan - 0-1-1
Played CBA extremely hard which is providing huge momentum for the rest of the year. In a tough division, Squan will be there at the end competing.
Shore South
Central Regional - 3-0
Scoring from all lines, Central appears to be the class of the Shore South division. Sr Trevor Coltenback leads the way with 4 goals and 8 assists through three games.
NJIIHL Kelly
Oratory Prep - 2-1-1
After a tough loss to Westfield, Coach Sam Tafel’s group will look to regroup. They play a hard honest style of hockey. In their wins they outscored their opponents 17-4.
Gov. Livingston - 3-0
This team is rolling to a 3-0 start out of the gate. FR Brady Silverman has 10pts and is one of the top players in the conference, SO Brian Kramer has 14pts. The skill level is high on this team
NJIIHL Mcinnis
Westfield - 3-0
Offensively gifted, Westfield is averaging 6 goals a game early in the season. The competition gets stiffer over the next three games but Westfield looks like a top squad early.
Livingston - 3-1-1
After stumbling out of the gate to West Essex, Livingston has rattled off three straight wins. They are lead by one of the best players in the NJIIHL Michael Mumm who has 4G 5A this year.
NJIIHL McMullen
Scotch Plains Fanwood and Frisch have rolled out 2-0 starts both with 17GF and 1GA each. Circle February 6 as both team will meet for the first time on the young season.
MCSSIHL Mennen
Chatham - 2-1
The only hiccup so far is losing to Delbarton 3-0. The Cougars defeated Morris Knolls 2-1 and Kinnelon 6-2. In an always tough Mennen division, Chatham will be a feisty team to beat.
Morristown - 2-2
Yet to find consistency they have looked impressive vs Madison and Kinnelon but looked out of sorts vs Morristown Beard and Roxbury. JR Jack Mckenna has notched 3 goals so far.
Randolph - 0-0
The state power is yet to start their season.
MCSSIHL Halvorsen
Roxbury - 3-0
A very well coached team, they have had solid wins over West Morris, Kinnelon and Morristown. They are very sound defensively and get timely goals regularly.
Madison - 2-1
Inconsistent early on, they look to find their groove as they have a big stretch coming up vs Kinnelon, Morristown and Mendham. SR Matt Gero is proving to be a top player with 3G and 3A.
MCSSIHL Haas
Mountain Lakes - 3-1
After falling to Madison 4-0, they have seen big wins over Mount Olive, Whippany and West Morris. They cannot afford to look ahead to Livingston with a hungry Kinnelon team on deck.
Gill St Bernard - 2-0-1
Christian and Logan Mote lead their team with 11 points combined. They are strong defensively but will be tested in the next 6 days as they take on Mountain Lakes twice.
MCSSIHL Charlotte
High Point - 2-1
They Showed that they can score vs equal opponents but need to find scoring vs a step up in competition. They have a big weekend as they play West Milford and Parsippany Hills.
GMC
Woodbridge - 3-1
After handling conference foes South Brunswick and Edison, Woodbridge had a disappointing performance over against Gov. Livingston. FR Ryan Lukko has 15pts in four games.
St. Joes Metuchen - 1-1
Starting their season off with a major let down vs SJV losing 5-2, St. Joes responded well with a 10-0 win over Edison. Pope John and St. Peters are on deck for St. Joes.
