Top Performers
Ryan Keyes - ‘03 Goaltender - Mercer Chiefs
The 2nd year NCDC goaltender was the key to Mercer winning their first playoff series in organization history, knocking up the reigning Dineen Cup Champions Jersey Hitmen in 2 games. Keyes never quits on a play, yet remaining composed and technical in his crease. Seeing over 40 shots in every game, including over 50 shots in game 1 of the Hitmen series, and 60 shots in the Chiefs final game, an OT loss in game 2 to PAL Jr Islanders. With long legs and quick movement throughout his crease, Keyes covers a lot of ice and is constantly square and on top of pucks. With experience in both the NAHL and NCDC, watch for Keyes to be a key for Mercer in 23-24, as well as a prospect for junior and college scouts.
