Proving to be a big piece to the Austin Bruins Power Play success was Zacher who accumulated 2 power play goals. His teammates have been looking to give him the puck as he accumulated 12 shots in just two games. His ability to dominate the puck possession game and utilize himself as a shooter along with a puck distributer is a game changer for the Bruins.
Weston Knox - ‘04 Defenseman - Minot Minotauros

Knox is relied upon to play heavy minutes for the Minotauros and he delivered over the weekend. His ability to move pucks on the offensive blue line is impressive and his deception to create shooting lanes is high end. The first pass out of the zone is typically crisp and he does a tremendous job of helping in the transitional game.
Gavin Morrissey - ‘03 Defenseman - Austin Bruins

Accumulating four points from the back end was Morrissey who used his ability to be patient with the puck to create passing lanes to his advantage. Defensively he plays a solid game and is hard to play against in his own end making him reliable for the Bruins in every situation. Morrissey is a high IQ defensemen who finds a way to be productive for Austin night in and night out.

The Aberdeen fans came out in full force to support their Wings as both nights featured crowds of 1,500 plus at the Odde Ice Center. However, Aberdeen had a hard time figuring out the St. Cloud defensive play and goaltender Ethan Dahlmeir who was up to the task all weekend. Both games were tight and hard hitting with neither team giving an inch. Aberdeen has a large hill to climb but are still very much alive in the series

Wyatt Wurst - ‘03 Defenseman - St. Cloud Norseman
At 6'3 Wurst has a long reach that takes away ice in the neutral zone making it difficult for his opponents to enter the zone with speed. He plays a tough game in the defensive zone and has continued to get better as the season went on. His confidence to get involved offensively has really taken a big step forward and he is an intriguing player to watch as the playoffs wear on.
Ethan Dahlmeir - ‘03 Goaltender - St. Cloud Norseman
Dahlmeir finished the season strong for St. Cloud and has carried that momentum into the playoffs. Recording a shutout in game 2 he has turned away 50 of 51 shots this post season. He is playing with extreme confidence which will make Aberdeen's life hard as they try to pull the reverse sweep.
