New Jersey Division I vs Division II
ACHA
One of the best tests in ACHA hockey is DI vs DII, and this Saturday will showcase 2 of the top ACHA teams in New Jersey facing off as DI William Patterson takes on DII Rider University. Rider, ranked #8 in the last DII Southeast rankings, is looking to bounce back after ending the first semester with a weekend sweep to powerhouse Liberty. William Paterson enters the game at Loucks Ice Arena in Lawrenceville NJ on a 3 game winning streak, defeating Rutgers and Temple to end the first semester before defeating Montclair State Friday night.
Emergency Goalie of the Year ?
NHL
On Thursday, Jersey Shore native and assistant coach with the NAHL New Jersey Titans Kyle Shapiro got the dream call up to back up John Gillies for the Devils as they took on the New York Islanders on the island. Though he did not play in the game, going no bucket in your rookie lap as a goalie was one of the top all time moments in EBUG history. Congrats Shaps !
