NJ Jr Hockey Continues To Build
After championships in the NAHL (New Jersey Titans), USPHL NCDC (Jersey Hitmen), USPHL Premier (Rockets Hockey Club) and EHL (New Jersey 87s), New Jersey will be adding the Philadelphia Rebels (NAHL) and Mercer Chiefs (NCDC) to their junior ranks.
The Philadelphia Rebels were relocated from Jamestown and will play in the NAHL East Division out of Hollydell Ice Arena. Justin Hale will be the new Head Coach and GM, after spending the last 3 seasons as an Assistant Coach with Dubuque of the USHL. Philadelphia HC has also left the NCDC, moving to the EHL.

Rockets Coach Makes Jump To USHL
Rockets Hockey Club Coach Jason Kersner hired by Sioux City of the USHL after 2 successful seasons turning NCDC program around, will be replaced by brother Jared Kersner.
USPHL NCDC Expansion
The USPHL’s highest league will welcome the Mercer Chiefs and Wilkes Barre Scranton Knights into the league for 2022, with the Knights jumping up after a successful first year at the Premier level. The league also announced plans for a western expansion for 2023-2024 of 6 teams : Utah Outliers, Ogden Mustangs, Pueblo Bulls, Provo Predators, North Colorado Eagles and Idaho Falls Spud Kings.
USPHL Premier Expansion
A new Northwest Division will include 5 new teams, as well as multiple other additions to existing divisions, increasing league total to 72.

EHL Update
With over 160 commitments in 2021-2022, the EHL will be adding 2 new teams in 2021-2022 with Philadelphia HC in Hollydell, NJ and a team in Warwick, RI. The league also announced it will hold 4 league wide showcases + 2023 EHL Frozen Finals scheduled to be held again at Providence College.
