Spencer Marquis, a student equipment manager for Merrimack hockey got the start against Stonehill 10/6 in Merrimack’s season opener due to injuries and eligibility issues to the other goaltenders. Despite a 3-2 loss in OT, Marquis stood tall, stopping 19 of 22.
