2023 NAHL Draft Analysis

The 2023 North American League draft featured 259 selections over 15 rounds, with 69.5% of all selections having 1-2 years left of junior eligibility. US U18’s produced the most selections amongst leagues, with 33 selections overall. Goaltender selections were up this year from just 15 in 2022, 10 coming in the first 3 rounds. Forwards dominated the first 3 rounds (63), led by the USHL (8), BCHL (7), USPHL NCDC (6) and MJHL (6).
