Final - New Jersey Titans (3) vs Anchorage Wolverines (0)
The fear for most Titan fans heading into the single elimination was how would their Titans handle the fatigue of playing three games, two of which going to overtime vs a very physical New Mexico team. The question was answered in the first period as the Titans were flying around the Anchorage Wolverines, outshooting their opponents 16-8.
Titan forward Brendan Dumas got the scoring started in the second period and three minutes later Nick Ring scored a highlight reel goal to get the Titans up to 2-0. With how Titan goaltender Andrew Takacs performed, the 2-0 deficit felt like a massive mountain to climb for Anchorage.
There was hope for Anchorage early in the third when the lone penalty of the game was called against Titan forward Nick Ring. Anchorage came hard and heavy but were still unable to solve Andrew Takacs.
Titan forward Anthony Calafiore was able to put the Titans up by 3, half way through the third. Takacs and the Titans 1-2-2 forecheck and overall team defense got the rest of the job done as the Titans won their first ever Robertson Cup.

New Jersey Titans 2 vs New Mexico Ice Wolves 1
In what was the series of the playoffs, New Jersey and New Mexico faced off in a grueling three game series that went back and forth all weekend. Game 1 belonged to New Mexico as New Jersey came out tentative in the first two periods and struggled to figure out New Mexico goaltender Beni Halasz.
Despite falling 3-1 on opening night, New Jersey used the momentum they got in the third period to help propel their game 2 overtime victory. Mercyhurst commit and three-year Junior Veteran Tommy Bannister propelled the Titan offense with two goals and LIU commit Levente Keresztes scored the overtime winner, sealing the 3-2 win.
Game 3 went way into the night as the Titans were able find the back of the net in double overtime from Mercyhurst commit Ryan Coughlin's stick. Prior to going to overtime, the Titans were down to their final 90 seconds trailing 3-2, until Maine Commit Anthony Calafiore took a pass from UNH commit Nick Ring and one timed it home.
Titans goaltender Andrew Takacs who will be attending Colgate next season was able to out duel counterpart Beni Halasz in the three games, in what was a magnificent goalie match up.
Anchorage Wolverines 2 vs St. Cloud Norsemen 0
In what many considered an upset, Anchorage rode their star goaltender Raythan Robbins two a quick two game sweep of the Norsemen. Robbins turned away 72 of the St. Cloud Norsemen's 75 shots in the semi-final round.
Anchorage was able outlast the Norsemen in game one of the series with a 2-1 overtime victory, despite being outshot 49 to 21. Game two St. Cloud struggled to figure out the Anchorage goaltender again even though they controlled most of the play, they lost 6-2 with a few empty net goals.
Anchorage was able to use their opportunistic style of offense to counter the St. Cloud attack and were very successful in the transition game.
