The USPHL’s Tier II junior league, the NCDC, is off and running as we approach the end of 2021. Get caught up with news, highlights, stats and scouting reports from across the NCDC.

North
The North division has been exceptionally tight this season as the division has been the most balanced top to bottom since the NCDC was formed. First place and last place are separated by 12 points in the standings. The New Hampshire Monarchs have been the highlight of the division going 7-3 in their last 10 and have been playing a winning brand of hockey of late led by 01' returning forward Aidan Curran.

South
Like the north division, the south has been super competitive as well and see the first place team only ahead of last place by 7 points. The Jersey Hitmen and PAL Islanders have led the way with identical 15-7-1 records. Utica, was off to a hot start at the beginning of the year but have cooled off of late losing four in a row.

USPHL Winter Showcase is set to take place January 7-10 in Marlborough, Ma.
Jersey Hitmen, New Hampshire Jr Monarchs enter the weekend with 3 or more game winning steaks.
Just 6 points separate the top 9 teams in the league, with Jersey Hitmen, PAL Jr Islanders and Utica Comets with 31, while tied for 8th place overall are South Shore Kings and Philadelphia HC with 25 points.
Daisuke Egusa (Jr Monarchs) and Teppei Ueno (Hitmen) will represent Japan in the 2021 IIHF Division IB World Junior Tournament.
